These recordings were done while either travelling through the area in 4WD vehicles or by the campfire. On the spot commentary is provided as the party travelled through the country where members of the family had lived during the early part of the 20th century. Some comparisons are made about vegetation and landscape in the 1920s and 1980s. There is yarning, reminiscing and discussion about old home sites and objects still remaining.
