Viles talks of changes to the school, wood fires, relations with the convent school; Dennis O'Neill talks of his relations as a teacher within the community; Ron Griffith talks of rabbiting and collecting bottles for pocket money; Frank Pratt talks of teaching in Galong ; Sandra Armstrong speaks of her enjoyment of teaching at Galong; Peter Binns remembers living at the Royal Hotel; Dudley Stuart recalls the broom piercing Bruce Woodhead's leg and travelling to school by car; speeches made at the celebrations: Leigh Jackson's welcome, John Killick (Jnr)'s welcome, John Killick introduces the official guests, Wal Fyfe's speech, Gloria Schultz's speech, Lex Bitter thanks people for coming; tree planting ceremony; 'Waltzing Matilda'; Laurel Woodhead recalls coming to Galong and Mr Williams, her teacher; cutting the cake; Harry Hoogendoorn talks of teaching at a small school; outside projects; discipline; fixing up an old house; Leigh Jackson talks of being a teacher at Galong.
