Most of the correspondence is in Ukrainian. 2. Typescripts and manuscripts of articles, book reviews and stories, 1958-1983, written in Ukranian. 3. Diaries, Ukrainica Australiana, 1955-1960 (in Ukranian). 4. Publications: Novyi Pokhid (1954), Mykola Bereza (1956), and, A survey of history of the Shevchenko Scientific Society in Australia, 1950-1975 (1976).

Journalist, bibliographer and author. Stepan Radion was born in Sylne, the Western Ukraine, and has lived in Australia since 1949. Radion obtained a Diploma from the Australian School of Journalism, Melbourne, and a Doctor of Letters (DLitt.) degree from the University of Arizona. Radion, who writes in both Ukrainian and English, is the author of numerous publications including, A survey of history of the Shevchenko Scientific Society in Australia (1950-1975) (1976), Dictionary of Ukrainian surnames in Australia (1981), Dictionary of Ukrainian graduates in Australia (1983), Casual encounter: stories in Ukrainian (1985), and, World of books and thoughts: book reviews in Ukrainian (1986).
