-
Letters from Sir Frederick Barlee to his brother, the Rev. William Barlee of Norwich. The six letters written in 1876, after Barlee's return to England, contain a few references to Australia, where he still had business interests, but they are mostly concerned with British politics and with the procrastinations of the Colonial Office in giving him further employment. The sixty-one letters written from British Honduras, May 1877-Aug. 1882, and the three from Trinidad, June-Aug. 1884, deal chiefly with family matters in England and his work and travels in the colonies. A further thirty-nine letters were written in England between Sept. 1882 and May 1884. Notebook Jan.-Aug. 1884, containing financial accounts.
