Selections from three collections: 1) Papers of Sir Walter Trevelyan (1797-1879), mainly relating to penal reform and the work of Alexander Maconochie. 2) Papers of the politician Sir Charles Trevelyan (1870-1958), in particular dealing with his tour of Australia and New Zealand in 1898 and his interest in industrial arbitration. 3) Papers of the politician Lord Runciman (1870-1949) on a wide range of subjects, including shipping, imperial trade, and the 1932 Ottawa Conference.
