1. Letters of Rev. George Vessey, Melbourne to family, 1861-68 re Church services, Baptist Chapel in Collins St., 1865 constitutional crises, etc. 2. Diary of Leonard A. Vessey of voyage to Australia on the Canaan, 1869. 3. Letters of Leonard Vessey to parents Thomas and Sarah Vessey, 1869-1879. Letters describe voyage to Australia, N.S.W. politics, impressions of Bathurst, surveying trip to Moruya and South Coast in 1871, impressions of Bega, work in Surveyor-General's Dept. and as assistant draughtsman, etc. There is also a letter and reference for Vessey written by A. Park, the surveyor at Hill End in 1872-73. 4. Photographs of surveyors at Hill End, Sept. 1872 and photograph of L.A. Vessey, c. 1875.
