Summary:

Biography/History:

The Canberra Association of Women Graduates was formed in 1944 with the aim of facilitating "inter-communication and co-operation between the women of universities of all nations". In 1960 the Association's name was changed to the Canberra Association of University Women, and in 1974 it was changed again to the Australian Federation of University Women- ACT.
