The papers relate almost entirely to Lady McNicholl's work on the biography of Menzies. The largest category are her notes and research material and there is also correspondence, some personal documents, newspaper cuttings, tapes and transcripts, lectures by or about Menzies, publications and documents received from various sources. The correspondents include Sir Robert Menzies, Frank Menzies, Heather Henderson, David McNicoll, Sir James Forrest, Sir Charles Court, Ken Wilder and Hazel Craig. There are also some certificates, commissions and other documents of Admiral Sir Alan McNicoll.
