Parry's despatches no. 47-98 to the Court of Directors; Secret no. 1. 1830; and, letters despatched 23 Dec. 1829-14 March 1834; Letterbook 23 Dec. 1829-4 June 1832 - Copies of letters despatched, Letterbook 4 June 1832 - 14 Mar. 1834 - Copies of letters despatched. The letterbooks each have an index of names, which include William Barton, William Burnett, Henry Douglas, John Henderson, F. A. Hely, Henry Danger, W. H. Mackenzie, James Laidley, Alexander McLeay, (Col. Sec.) George Bunn, Richard Stubbs, Capt. Moffatt, W. H. Walker, the Board for the Assignment of Convicts, the Superintendent of Convicts, R. Campbell Jr. and Co, A. B. Spark, Governors Bourke and Darling, Dr. Mitchell, Thomas Cowper, W. Wetherman, James Norton, and James Macarthur.
- Biography/History:

Parry was the son of Caleb Hillier Parry, physician and agriculturalist. He was concerned with Arctic exploration, 1818-1828, and was Hydrographer, 1825-1829. In 1829 he became commissioner of the Australian Agricultural Company. In 1834 he was succeed by Col. Henry Dumaresq and returned to England.
