Correspondence, deeds, receipts and other papers mainly of William and Margaret Williams, but including some letters of the Campbell family. The correspondents include John Campbell, John Norton, Margaret Robertson and James Robertson. They mainly deal with family and property matters, but there are some references to the affairs of New South Wales and to news from Scotland.

Margaret Campbell was the daughter of John and Annabella Campbell who emigrated from Scotland to Sydney in 1821. She married James Robertson of Catrina Vale, Van Diemen's Land, and later William Williams of Goulburn, N.S.W. They later moved to Little Billabong, near Holbrook.
