The collection comprises typescripts of many articles and speeches, contracts, tenders, specifications and plans of major engineering works, correspondence, newspaper cuttings, photographs and printed material relating to Sydney City Railway, Sydney Harbour Bridge, Brisbane River Bridge, Burrinjuck Dam and other projects. Included is a poem (1932) by Mary Gilmore celebrating the building of the Harbour Bridge and Bradfield's involvement.
