The papers came as part of Elizabeth Harrower Papers (MS 8237) and contain: 1. Papers relating to Sir Edward Ford, 1934-72. Includes a typescript copy of letter-diary of Ford to Cantwell. 2. Correspondence, 1951-89. Includes postcards, telegrams and letters of Elizabeth Harrower, Margaret Ford, Cynthia and Jinx Nolan. 3. Miscellaneous material, 1968-88. Includes cuttings, photocopies and art gallery catalogues.

Bill (Ida Florence) Cantwell had a great interest in art, botany and bibliography. She was a friend of Sir Edward Ford, Margaret Ford, Elizabeth Harrower, Cynthia and Jinx Nolan.
