-
This "alternative" press was established in Melbourne by Pat Woolley, who later founded the small publishing firm Wild and Woolley. Tomato Press operated in Sydney from 1972 until 1976, during which time several partners were involved in printing, publishing and sometimes writing "alternative" literature. The Press was chiefly significant for its role in the printing of small publications and little magazines.
