Typescript of expenses defrayed by Macao covering 'Expenses of Saldenha's Embassy to China from 14/5/1667-1670'. This material was published in the book by Boxer and Braga, Macao, 1942. List made by Mr. Braga of documents of which the originals were examined by him in the Archives of Torredu Tombo, Lisbon. This collection is known as Livros das Moncoes; Relacoes de Documentos Remitedes da India. - that is Codices sent from India, 62 in number out of a total of over 300, the remainder being still in India. Mr Braga took notes of documents which he felt would be of interest to students of Far Eastern history. In the early stages of his work he limited his choice rather strictly to the Far East, until it was suggested to him to include other subjects as well.
