The Silver Top Cafe operated in South Melbourne for 37 years, prior to its recent closure. It was operated by Greek-Macedonian immigrants who remained with it for most of their working lives. The cafe orginally operated 24 hours a day, seven days a week with three shifts. Photographs include the interior views of the cafeteria, the owners Peter and Con and the equipments used at that time.
