- The illustration portrays a coat of arms, flanked by a priest and a Highlander; to the right of the woodcut is a single column of text which explains the meaning of the coat of arms, which begins: "An explanation, &c. The crest is a Welshman displac'd, and stript of his glory, .. In the middle is a medal, with the Pretender's face; ..".
- A satire against James Charles Edward Stuart, the Old Pretender.
