MS Acc04.048 comprises correspondence, business files, contracts, press cuttings, photographs, leaflets, posters, magazines, programs, scripts and folklore collected by Fahey. Also, sound recordings, mostly from Larrikin Entertainment (15 boxes, 4 cartons).
- Biography/History:

Folklorist, folk singer, musical producer and author. In 1997 Warren Fahey was made a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in recognition of his service to Australian music and folklore. Fahey is the founder of Larrikin Records and folk band, The Larrikins. He has conducted a number of oral history interviews for the National Library of Australia. As an author, Fahey has published several books including Eureka, the songs that made Australia (1984 and 1989), The balls of Bob Menzies: Australian political songs, 1900-1980 (1989), When Mabel laid the table: the folklore of eating and drinking in Australia (1992), and, Classic bush yarns: Australian outback humour, tall yarns and bulldust (2001).
