Sid Hewitt, born 1933 in England, talks about his father coming to Australia in 1948 and taking the family to the then isolated farming community of Ravensthorpe, W.A.; his association with the local Indigenous community and discrimination towards his Aboriginal friends; he recalls the living conditions in the Ravensthorpe and other areas; his love of music; he sings several songs from his repetoire with Rick Carey.
