Biography/History:

Agricultural scientist. Geoffrey Loftus-Hills was an agricultural scientist, specialising in dairy manufacture. He worked for 30 years at the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (later CSIRO), first as officer in charge of the Dairy Research Section then as Chief of the new Division of Dairy Research. He was also involved in various national and local groups, including the Australia Party, the Australian Democrats, the United Nations Association of Australia, and the Australian Club of Rome.
