MS Acc04.254 comprises printed versions of five e-mails from Susan Bambrick to Rosemary Turner, 7 October, 2004, forwarding the text of five speeches given by Bambrick from 1999-2002 (1 folder).
The Acc10.165 instalment comprises a collection of recipes titled "Memories of my mother's afternoon teas, with recipes", dated 2 October, 2010 (1 packet).

Academic and economist. Susan Caroline Bambrick graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Economics (Hons.) degree in 1965, and gained a Ph.D. from the Australian National University with a thesis titled Australian price indexes. Bambrick spent her teaching and research career in the Faculty of Economics and Commerce at the ANU. She specialised in the field of industry economics both at ANU and as the first Fulbright Australian Scholar-in-Residence to the United States.
She was appointed pro vice-chancellor at La Trobe University and then deputy vice-chancellor at the University of Southern Queensland from which she retired in 2004. Her contributions in public service include both Commonwealth and state government councils and committees across a wide range of policy issues, including as a member of the Council of the National Library of Australia. Bambrick was created an Officer in the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in 1983 for service to education, particularly in the field of energy and resource economics.
