- Military map, originally produced by the Danish Generalstaben and later reproduced by the British War Office, of the Island of Als in Jutland for the period of 1851-1854. Following the end of the Schleswig-Holstein War of 1848-1850, the Island of Als became a stronghold for the natives of the Duchy of Schleswig, who would actively rebel against any attempt by Denmark to annex their territory. Relief is shown by shading.
