- Summary:
-
"Kambah Pool Road at 1628 hrs, 18:01:2003. Although separated by a pathway and a mown grass strip, strong gusty winds drove a wide band of fire through landscaped shrubland beside Kambah Pool Road to arrive at the rear of properties in Graves Place Kambah where it swept on as a cloud of burning leaves, bark bits, twigs and smouldering seed pods to set fires in every nook and cranny. The house, garage and sheds beyond the near fence were subsequently lost to fire"--Note from the photographer.
