Folkloric recording. John Donvito, born Sydney 1959, speaks about family background; education, including Farm Ridge Progressive School started by his parents at Glen Haven 1965. This school was one of the first, before Steiner schools, with a philosophy of freedom with boundaries; his apprenticeship as horticulturist. Diane Wilder born Sydney 1963 speaks of family background; her mother being a tap dancer and tap teacher; meeting Richard and Christine Cullen who danced with Margaret Barr; concerts in local hall which Barr attended; describes Barr's beauty and presence. John and Diane discuss dancing with Barr; Cullens visiting school and performing there; John's involvement in shows; Diane and John's meeting (1988); Diane at Sydney to Teacher's College; living at Barr's house; joining Barr's dance group; lists shows she danced in 1983; Barr's car accident; John and Diane dancing together from 1989; life with Barr. Diane discusses Russell Demas (choreographer) and dancers Kai Tai, Gary Lester, Philip Piggin; a planned visit to New Zealand; leaving Barr's group in 1988; returning in 1989; studying for her PhD in Education, part of which is on Margaret's work; Barr's involvement in Martha Graham's Company and Dartington Hall in England; Joos-Leeder; The Elmhursts; influences of Margaret's work still continuing today.

Diane and John were both involved over many years with the work of Margaret Barr and danced in many productions of the Sydney Dance Drama Company. John began as a young boy because of his sister's involvement with Margaret, being drawn into classes and then productions.
