An artist's book presented as a photo documentary of formal portraits of Kips kaboni or Red devils, Papua New Guinea's longest established raskol group. It shows the young, unemployed adults and teenagers who orchestrate raids, car jackings and robberies as their means of survival. It focuses on Papua New Guinean youth in crisis, men who have turned to crime, violence and anarchy in a bid to protect their future and that of their communities. The raskols distribute their wealth across their communities.

Stephen Dupont was born to Danish parents in Sydney, 1967. A documentary photographer of the Robert Frank school of thought. He covers the world's trouble spots including Bosnia, Rwanda and Afghanistan. In 1994 chosen as one of the ten most promising young international documentary photographers. In 2000 was a founding member of the first festival of photo journalism in Australia. He has won many international photography prizes including the World Press Photo and Pictures of the Year International. His work is exhibited in London, Paris, New York, Tokyo and he works on assignment for various magazines including the New Yorker, Le Figaro, the French and German GEO. - Artist's copy limited to projected 15 copies.
- Hand made by the artist, hand printed by Chris Reid with book binding by Joseph Harb.
- All pages are silver gelatin prints attached concertina and enclosed in aluminium covers. The book is contained in a hand made aluminium clam shell box.
- The work needs to be handled carefully as the covers are not attached to a spine as well as it being over large and heavy.
