Housed in Folio Box 7, the Acc06.104 instalment consists of an A3 scrapbook containing papers relating to Felix Gethen's work, including correspondence, concert programs, promotional flyers, concert reviews and other newspaper clippings (1 v.).

Composer. Felix Edwards Gethen was born in London in 1916. He trained at the Guildhall School of Music and the Royal College of Music, London. Gethen came to Australia in 1951, and worked with the Hobart Symphony Orchestra and as a lecturer in music at the University of Tasmania, before joining ABC Tasmania in 1968. In 1971 he became Federal Executive of Orchestras and in 1976 he was posted to England as music adviser to the London Office of the ABC. Compositions by Gethen were presented at the Paris Rostrum, 1971, and in 1975 he won the Italia Prize. Gethen died at Sirius Cove, Sydney in 2002.
