Literary agency, founded in London in 1899. Curtis Brown (Australia) Pty Ltd. was established in 1967 to represent Australian, New Zealand, and Pacific writers worldwide. In 1999, Curtis Brown acquired Hickson Associates and in 2003 concluded a management buy-out to become independent in Australia (from Curtis Brown Group Ltd.)
