Biography/History:

Rosemary Ryan was known as an artist. In the 1940s and 1950s she was a member of the artistic circle in Melbourne. Her work became known through exhibitions in Melbourne, South Yarra, Australian Galleries. Her paintings evoked memories of country life in Australia in pre-World War II times.
