- Plan of the Tuggeranong Town Centre outlined in colour but superimposed on a b&w topographical base map showing contours and land allocation perimeters. The plan shows the proposed lake as a whole but the town centre shows only roads and no indication of buildings. The colour coding shows town centre areas, park and recreation areas, special development areas, residential areas and open space areas. However, apart from the Murrumbidgee River to the far left and street and suburb markings on the base map, the plan is devoid of any names for streets and buildings. The lake was later built in 1987 coinciding with urban development in the district. The lake was built as a sediment trap to stop sediment from entering the Murrumbidgee River.
