Includes nine short notes in the top left margin. Quarter sheet 5NW is a geological map with a mountainous area marked on the map as the Great Dividing Range but no cadastral details. The parish of Cobaw is shown at the bottom of the map. Includes seven short geological notes in the top right margin that refer to local dykes. Quarter sheet 5SE is a geological map with the town of Lancefield on the left as well as the parishes of Lancefield and Springfield in the county of Bourke with Forbes probably in the county of Dalhousie and with some cadastral details. Includes two short geological notes in the top right margin. Relief shown by hachures.
