Celebrating their 75th anniversary in 2009, Thiess is a leading mining, construction and services contractor. In 1966 Thiess Holdings acquired three cattle properties in the Kimberley area, totalling around one and a half million acres, at Mt Hart, Ellendale and Silent Grove. Thiess were also contracted to build access roads to cattle growing areas for the transport of stock--Information based on acquisition information.
