- Sometimes attributed to Daniel Defoe (Trent (tentative), Hutchins, Moore, Novak ("probably")). Attribution disputed by Furbank and Owens, Defoe de-attributions.
- Verify title and presence of comma after "printed" in the imprint; O copy imperfect; wanting the titlepage. O confirm their copy to be similar to t65931 except for the press figures. MH-BA reports no comma after printed, and a double-rule and plain initial on p.1; otherwise a this. Have sent for photocopy of t.p. and p.1 to confirm (12/93)
