- This project known as the Post-war Chinese Australians Oral History Project was initiated in 1992 under an agreed set of funding sources continuing until mid-1999 when these funding arrangements expired. Around Aug. 1999 new funding arrangments were established and interviews with the Chinese Australian community continued under a new project agreement referred to as the Chinese Australian Oral History Partnership.
