Ethel Hack, witness of the Falling Stones Phenomena, 1955-1956, at Myanup, W.A. Hack describes the Falling Stones of Mayanup as it developed centred around the Gilberts' home, how she had heard a low mournful whistle and the dog would go mad at the time of these incidences, how the neighbors would all help, describes the mysterious lights that also appeared, how news of these incidences attracted more and more visitors and viewers including spiritualists and psychic investigators, discusses the period of 1955-1956, mentions the local Aboriginal Jannicks family as another site, how the phenomenon consisted of flying onions and then potatoes, how the flying objects did not roll after landing, other objects included falling bottles, thrown dirt, showers of stones, how the witch doctor was called in but there was a later reoccurrence, describes the whistle sounds.
