"This report has been prepared by the Department of Commerce's Manly Hydraulics Laboratory (MHL) for the Department of Natural Resources, now the Department of Environment and Climate Change (DECC). The report presents the results of an investigation to determine the cause of oceanic flooding between 8 and 13 April 2006 at Lake Conjola and Gerroa on the NSW South Coast. Data recorded by the DECC environmental data monitoring network, CSIRO and the Bureau of Meteorology was used to document the event and to identify the driving mechanisms of the flood event"--Foreword.
