- Summary:

The Japanese print shows a man in monk costume being invited by the little figures on a cloud to get in to a paragon; and another little figure on the other side on the ground is trying to stop him taken away. Two other little figures were crying on the side. All little figures have some texts on their faces written, describing what their roles are in this print.

- Many prints were produced to commemorate the death of famous Kabuki actors and it shows how popular Kabuki actors were in late Edo and early Meiji period.
- A poem and the name of the actor, his age, his buddhist name and the date he died also is written on the print.
