Bettine Brown collection of photographs of the Monte Carlo Russian Ballet, part of the Ballets Russes company, that toured in Australia between 1936 and 1937. The photographs are signed by various ballet dancers including Leon Woizikowsky, Maitre de Ballet, Roland Guerard, Savva Andeieff, Nina Raievska, Natasha Branitska, Helene Kirsova, Igor Youskevitch. Bettine Brown was a Sydney dance student who won a locally awarded scholarship to study with Edward [?] Espinosa in London--Information from acquisitions documentation.
