The implementation of remedial education in the community college has become more urgent with the establishment of open admissions, as is demonstrated in this annotated bibliography. The bibliography compiles 49 references to published and unpublished materials, and consists of eight sections: General Sources; Remedial Education; Developmental Education; Basic Skills; English, Reading and Composition; Communication and Oral Skills; Mathematics; and Science.
