- Summary:
-
The objective of this research was to forecast the potential impact of videodisc technology on Navy training in the period 1976-1986 by measuring and interpreting the opinions of a panel of experts. The DELPHI, a methodology for systematic solicitation and collation of informed judgments, was the primary research tool. It was concluded that the expected growth in videodisc technology was large enough to warrant an investigation of its uses in terms of increasing instructional productivity and reducing instructional costs.
