This paper describes the functions and services of four federally-funded information dissemination networks--the Research and Development Exchange (RDx), the Educational Resources Information Center (ERIC), the National Diffusion Network (NDN), and the State Capacity Building Programs (SCBP)--and explains how each network interrelates within Appalachia Educational Laboratory's Regional Exchange in providing educational information to the community.
