This manual is intended to increase awareness of Title IX and related equity issues at the local school district level by providing materials and resources to specialists in school districts. Sample display materials and order lists that describe how to obtain items in the display are provided in section l. Items for the display may be obtained both free of charge and at cost from various equity organizations. Section 2 includes a description of the two-day training workshop and selected samples of workshop materials. The workshop comprises four major topic areas: (1) Title IX; (2) women's history; (3) mathematics; and (4) science and computer equity.
