Nine topics of discussion are as follows: focus on the education of the undergraduate student; providing high quality education to all kinds of students; providing a liberal arts education for a lifetime, one in step with today's world; emphasizing values; providing students with significant opportunities to become involved in activities that foster individual maturation; offering curricula and a teaching environment with important advantages; leadership that can make a difference; financial and administrative efficiency; and engendering enormous commitment from their "families."
