This report describes a program for formulating and implementing a staff development plan for technology within the Lake Forest School District (Delaware). The study focused on increasing teacher use of technology, primarily computers, through increased staff development. Attitudinal changes toward the use of technology were also investigated. Two surveys were used as pre- and post-tests to measure the change in skill levels and attitudes toward the use of technology due to staff development. A staff development team was established. This team selected development courses based on staff development plans. The study proved that technology staff development increased the use of computers and technology by the teachers in the district as indicated by the increased confidence of the teachers in the use of computers and technology. Letters, sample surveys, a curriculum unit of study, a list of steps for implementing technology staff development courses, and other miscellaneous forms and documents are appended.
