This module is the second section of a four-part how-to manual for integrating curriculum in grades K-12, especially in Missouri. The module focuses on how integration can occur, with topics ranging from communication to scheduling to various models, career paths, and thematic units. A case study and comments from teachers, students, and administrators who are actively involved in integration in Columbia Public Schools are interspersed throughout the module. The schools portrayed in the case studies were selected to represent a broad spectrum of learning environments, from urban to rural, from magnet school to comprehensive K-12. The module is organized in two sections that explain how to integrate. The first section focuses on the essential elements of communicating, scheduling, time, teaming, and administrative support. The second section examines National Center for Research in Vocational Education models, applied academics, career paths, thematic units, mental processes, and curriculum blocks. The module also includes descriptions of 10 school reform measures, a glossary defining 19 terms, and interspersed lists containing 24 references. (KC)
