"Through the generosity of Peter Lindsay, the National Library possess what may be regarded as a complete collection of Lionel Lindsay's etchings and woodcuts. Amounting to more than 900, the collection includes prints and proofs in various stages of completion, from the first state, through proofs to print. There are also prints of experimental colour woodblocks which were never used. The works date from the 1890s to 1939 and include scenes from Sydney, South Australia, Victoria, Spain, France, India and Morocco as well as portraits and bookplates."--Information from Guide to the collections, Vol. 3 / compiled by C.A.
