This set of colour lithographic posters is part of the Reef Beat curriculum-centred education resources created to encourage students in Years 3 to 12, to discover all they can about the Great Barrier Reef. In particular, these posters explore the inshore Great Barrier Reef and biodiversity. Each poster is a realistic illustration of part of the inshore reef, and nine of the posters can be displayed next to one another to form a large mural. Each poster bears three small snippets of information, some on the topic of reef guardianship. One aim of the series is to encourage students to take action to protect biodiversity now and into the future. The tenth poster provides more textual background information for the posters.
