Biography/History:

Matt Walker started playing at the age of 14. He played in many bands including Wild Turkey, Broderick Smith Band, Mighty Servant led by Ashley Davies (drums) with Andrew Entsch (bass). He has supported many overseas artists and played in Europe and America. he collaborated with Mick Harvey in writing the sound track for the film Australian Rules, which won an ARIA for Best Soundtrack 2003.

Source of Acquisition:
Acquired as part of a collection of ‘gig’ posters accumulated by a Sydney secondhand music dealer during the early 2000s. Many of the posters promote performances at two well known Sydney music venues: Brass Monkey in Cronulla and Bizzo’s in Caringbah.
