Colour lithographic poster advertising a set of five stamps and associated prestige booklet issued to celebrate Indigenous Australians whose efforts have brought about change, gender equality and recognition. Each stamp features the portrait of one of these Indigenous Australians, with the stamp background a collage of news headlines of their era. Featured are: Neville Bonner AO (1922-99) ; Eddie "Koiki" Mabo (1936-92) ; Oodgeroo Noonuccal (1920-93), also known as Kath Walker ; Charles Perkins AO (1936-2000) and Shirley Smith AM (Mum Shirl) (1921-98) who was born Colleen Shirley Perry. The poster background is bright and varies through orange, yellow, green and blues. In a black banner at the foot of the poster is a warning to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and the availability details of the stamps. Above this is a multi-coloured graphic inspired by Aboriginal art.
