Calendar for 1915 issued by the Minister of External Affairs, Melbourne. Features the image of a young woman seated on a mound, overlooking harvesting activities in a paddock. The title appears in green text at the upper edge. An oval panel depicting a horse-drawn harvesting machine appears lower left. A cut-out in the shape of a map of Australia shows a black and white image of men harvesting, entitled 'Stipper, harvesters, Australia'. A second cut-out at the lower edge, holds a black and white calendar sheet for the month of December 1915, with text at right and left listing addresses for applying for information in San Francisco. The letters N and H appear in the lower left corner. "Syd Day The Printer Ltd., Australia." appears lower left and "Patent Transformation Ca....." appears lower right of the calendar cut-out. The whole is surrounded by a brown border with "Syd Day Ltd Australia" at the lower edge centre. The reverse of the calendar has an invitation to immigrants to "Come to Australia...." and describes the life and conditions they will find, followed by addresses for applying for further information. Instructions for using the calendar appear at the lower edge.
