- TBS&E could be seen in some sense as a continuation of the 1940s Sydney Futurian Observer newsletters currently being put up by Kim Huett. About a quarter of each issue consists of notes from the Sydney Futurian meetings, from 2003 to the present. There are also book reviews, notes from other Sydney SF&F events, and coverage of local Science / Astronomy meetings.
