-
The debut self-published book of artist Rural Ranga (aka Adam Seymour, who grew up in country Victoria, and completed a visual arts degree in Melbourne in 2012) features his experiences and observations from a period in 2014 that he spent living in New York, when he found it difficult to pay his rent, finance his art, and find time to focus and create. "So I decided to quit my low-paying job at MoMA and give massages with happy endings to homos and business daddies instead." Reproductions of drawings of his clients are accompanied by brief texts giving his impressions of them. "The book you hold has been 100% made and financed by the flicks of my wrist."-Introduction.
